We have a reason to rejoice

We have been nominated for the Callwey Award – the most beautiful restaurants & bars 2023 – with both THE ROOF of the b´mine Frankfurt Airport and Otto´s Skybar in the Lindner Congress Hotels. This means that you can admire us in the publication of the same name with these two great projects next year. It also means that we have an opportunity to win the trophy. The secret around the places on the winners’ podium will be unveiled at the Internorga in Hamburg in March 2023.

THE ROOF is captivating due to spatial width, a sensitive play of colors and textiles, and a breath-taking view onto the skyline and the airport of Frankfurt. The centerpiece is the expertly stage show kitchen that is visible from all around. It is covered by a kind of “crown”, a light installation made of 3000 fine brass rods that makes almost all technical installations disappear.

Otto´s Skybar is on the 19^th floor of the Lindner Congress Hotel in Düsseldorf. It is a lovingly designed combination of bar, lounge, and restaurant. The most relevant spatial element is the centrally placed counter of the bar, which is topped by a storm cloud-like light installation. Here, too, a unique view onto the Rhine, the city and the airport can be enjoyed, which makes the guests start dreaming about the next destination of their travel.
