Something new is beginning

Close to 14,000 sqm will be the dimension of the new wellness and health hotel, which is meant to serve as another location of the Mawell Resort and is implemented by the investor KommInvest in cooperation with the health resort administration Bad Mergentheim and its shareholders, the city, the district and the federal state. For this purpose, the existing Parkhotel will be renovated and complemented by a new building with a length of round about 160 m.

In this project, we do not only assume the task of planning the interior of the wellness and treatment area including a rooftop terrace, the rooms of the chalets and lodges, as well as lobby and restaurant, but also have an influence on the architecture. In the wellness area measuring 3,700 sqm one highlight is followed by another – what these are, we are not authorized to disclose at this point. However, one is the 100 m-long Infinity Pool with a view to the spa gardens. The adjoining pool bar takes care of the culinary well-being of the guests, who can order directly from inside the pool. Guests can spend the night in one of the eight lodges in the woods, or in the chalets located above the wellness area. The latter convince with an open floor plan and the wide view onto the city and the spa gardens. The lodges are spread over the wooded hill behind the building block; they tower above the building and are planned in a hybrid construction made of natural raw materials in partially prefabricated modules, so that we planned the layouts to accommodate their requirements.
