In the world of prefabricated houses
In the exhibition park “FertighausWelt Schwarzwald” in Kappel-Grafenhausen, 14 state-of-the-art wooden prefab houses full of comfort and quality have been set up as of late. One of them belongs to WeberHaus – house-building partner and prefabricated house manufacturer. Thanks to a previous project, we were once again able to benefit from our successful collaboration and design the interior of the urban villa in a modern country house style. The aim was to create a home, in which a family would feel safe and secure. In order for a house to be the center of a family’s life, several individual needs must be taken into consideration and combined: open rooms for social gathering, private retreats and functional comfort.
The original cubature of the house was maintained and complemented with highlights like the kitchen in the extension with a pitched roof as well as skylights. The perfect layout was jointly developed.The living room was realigned and the master bedroom was complemented with an ensuite bathroom and a loggia. Elements like muntin windows, hip roof, veranda, a detached subjacent living area, and a cozy corner seat were interpreted in a modern way, so that a timeless design resulted. The interior design is based both on the functional aspects of family life and the focus on the sense of well-being and coming home. Since April 23, 2022 visitors have been able to get their own impression of the house.
