Best Workspaces 2023
We have got another reason for joy: The GE Additive 3D-Campus has been nominated for the Best Workspace 2023. This prize, offered by the publishing house Callwey as an award, is the first international architecture award for intelligent worlds of working. The final decision will be made in March 2023.
The 3D-Campus planned by Schmelzle+Partner was able to convince the jury with its innovative design of office spaces. In this project, we took on the entire interior design. Thus, the individual levels got varying concepts in which functional spaces were inserted between the workplaces. An open design with a lot of daylight and accentuated color highlights characterize the spaces. Special rooms like a prayer room and a bedroom as well as a gamer room complement the New Work Concept. A generously designed canteen with inserted boxes and a large basket light installation, reminding of the city history of Lichtenfels as “basket city” is to be found on the ground floor.
