A very special place of longing is the estate, as it already served as the backdrop of the movie “Die Mädels vom Immenhof” in the 1950s and has been accommodating hotel guests since October 2021. With a lot of sensitivity, we transformed the interior of the historical estate from the 14th century into the world of the 21st century. The atmosphere, characterized by Nordic influences, rural elegance and authenticity, is both rustic and elegant.
We designed the suites in the manor and the outbuildings, the event hall, the wellness area in the former lunging hall as well as various gastronomy areas. A lot of dexterity was needed for handling the interior rooms of the listed manor, where we became creatively active in the restaurant and the bar. Special style elements create a casual, contemporary country house style: Stucco sections at the ceilings, floors with herringbone parquet and traditional Öland stone characterize the high-value rooms of the manor. Walls in contrasting colors and room-high paneling, leather tiles and bronze mirrors, loden and linen reflect the comprehensive knowledge regarding materials.
