With the new house in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel, another me and all hotel is added to our repertoire. This one, however, is different: motley, extraordinary, and loud. Here, urbanity meets pomp, comfort meets glamour, and luxury meets nonchalance – all around a house of expertly stage-managed exaggerations. Despite all the bling bling, chichi and exuberant color scenario, the sole purpose is to have the guests enjoy the wild, colorful ambience and feel completely comfortable.
We were able to fully deploy our creative potential on about 14,000 square meters with 249 rooms including artistical bathrooms, an intelligent room design, and partially integrated pantry kitchens, common areas, restaurants, bars, and various lounges.Due to an effective use of space and an open floor plan, points of contact between guests are provided. A highest amount of dexterity was needed for handling the various textiles, colors and shapes. The guests are meant to feel as good as in their own homes but, at the same time, experience something completely new. A highlight in the new house: the “design wall” we developed for the lobby that is foldable, can be converted with very little effort and be adjusted to the spatial requirements that change from time to time.
