Starting signal for HENRI Hotel located at „Alter Fischereihafen“ – perhaps the longest hotel in the world!
The first construction phase at “Alter Fischereihafen“ (AFH) in Cuxhaven brings a fresh breeze into the historical fish halls IV, V, and VI, which are all being modernized together with the quay wall and net hall. These measures build the basis for a new era at the AFH and make it the new hotspot for travelers and locals.
HENRI Hotel Cuxhaven GmbH opens a 260m long HENRI Country House in the fish halls V and VI. We are planning the interior for the 145-room hotel, merging the rough appeal of the 1920ies with modern design, thus conserving the uniqueness of the place.
On the ground floor of the former fish market halls, the HENRI Lounge invites guests and locals. The Lounge serves as a large, cozy “living room” of the quarter, where one gathers socially to enjoy drinks and snacks or works in the co-working space.
The HENRI offers other amenities like a Gym & Spa area as well as a “house kitchen”, centerpiece of every HENRI. From a charming breakfast up to self-sufficiency around the clock. Families and long-term guests profit from room combinations and suites with kitchenettes and generous living areas. Enlivened by the historical building structure, characterized by seafaring, and combined with modern economic aspects.
