“Temporary home” – this is the motto of the b´mine hotels. This also applies to the airport hotel that is currently being built in the Frankfurt quarter “Gateway Gardens” in the direct vicinity of the airport. The 13 floors comprise – apart from the 241 high-quality rooms in the categories Smart, Double and CarLoft – the coffeeshop with a bistro, a restaurant with bar and lounge as well as flexible event and meeting rooms.
Next to the design of the public areas, our focus was on the floor plan development of the rooms, especially the Smart Rooms, as well as the integration of the CarLofts. For the Smart Rooms, we have found individual and generous solutions and developed an acoustic concept. Here, we skillfully divided the room into zones – by means of textile elements, rooms can be optionally opened and closed in order to maintain the spaciousness. The typical b´mine cocooning concept – a padded bed recess serving as a retreat – is also applied here. This underlines the well-thought-out color, room and material concept that provides a sense of tranquility. A special feature was the use of artistic elements made by berlin-based artist Pola Brändle placed at the front walls of the foyer, as well as at the ceiling. The opening is planned for the beginning of April.
